Roles and Responsibilities

The materials and techniques found in our unique HOSOO textiles for domestic and international luxury markets have been developed over 1,200 years. Opened in September 2019, our first HOSOO FLAGSHIP STORE showcases our textile collection and offers a number of products and furniture pieces that accentuates the beauty of our textiles from our home collection.

Our store includes HOSOO GALLERY, a gallery space with a main focus on Japanese dyeing & weaving culture. In addition, experience HOSOO furniture and crafts over tea at HOSOO LOUNGE.

We welcome individuals who can offer sales support for our HOSOO interior and home products at our new flagship store. In particular, individuals who have an interest in interior design, art, and have the initiative to broaden their horizons.

From generations of traditional Japanese culture and outstanding craftsmanship, together we would like to work with individuals who can meticulously introduce our products to our domestic and international customers.


Provide support for in-store sales of HOSOO products and store operations.


  • Customer service experience preferred
  • English communicative ability (TOEIC 700 or above)
  • Computer skills such as Word and Excel
  • Creative and flexible
  • Positive and pro-active
  • Teamwork and communication abilities

General Employment Status

PositionFull-time employee (initial 3-month probation period)
Working hours10am to 6:30pm (7.5 hours)
Salarybased on experience, abilities, annual income of previous employer, and will be decided after the all interviews have been completed.
Compensationbasic monthly salary plus annual bonus (received twice a year)
Salary reviewJuly of each year
Holidays & Annual LeaveSaturdays (3 times per month), Sundays, public holidays, paid leave, summer / end-of-year & new year holidays, and leave for special occasions.
OtherTravel allowance up to 20,000yen per month, enrollment in social insurance and pension system.
Holiday allowance is provided if you are asked to work on holidays during busy times of the year.
